Panoramas of Rome from the left side of the Tiber

In the residential area of Parioli district there's a very small park, ideal for kids to play and for parents to take a rest. That's Villa Balestra
It's quiet, clean and frequented by local residents.
The view is  not superb, but you can sit outside a small coffee shop, while keeping an eye
on your children, while they're playing nearby. A great atout!

The most romantic area is by far the Pincio one. Walk by the Hassler Hotel, that dominates the Scalinata di Piazza di Spagna,
and head for the renowned restaurant, Casina Valadier, that is hosted in the park.
This part, of the much bigger Villa Borghese Park, is definitely worth a walk...

...or a bicycle ride, that's up to you!
And the view of this amazing city is breathtaking,
despite the works in progress!
