Back home

Even if I spent only a few days in NY, it seems I've been gone for weeks. The Big Apple is the liveliest place I know and, true, it never sleeps.

I had a pleasant flight from Amsterdam

and I landed just in time to
go to bed.

I visited NYU (I stepped out simply ravished by its students' energy and enthusiasm),

the super-technological Marist College, on the Hudson river bank,

and the fascinating Columbia University.

I admired a renewed Washington Square Park

and took pictures at random

I entered St. Patrick, packed of visitors,

and I saw people filming on the 5th Avenue.

I spoiled my palate at my favorite restaurants:
Osteria del circo, on 55th Street

Bar89, on Mercer Street,

Buddakan, in the Meatpacking District,

and Sarabeth, on Central Park South

and of course, I went shopping in Soho, Noho and Nolita, sparing no pains to my credit card :)

I enjoyed NY's nightlife

 and NY's morning life

and walked through Grand Central Station

and along Park avenue

and Lexington

until it was time to pack, and leave this amazing, surprising and fascinating city called
NEW YORK
