Rome is a boiling pot. Temperature and humidity are so unusually high, that the only way to survive the heat, is to spend these days by the seaside or, if not possible, in air-conditioned places.
Today I woke up early, and could not bear the idea of spending another day at home.
I headed to Fregene (plenty of people enjoying the last days of holiday), and I stopped at Toni's.
I loved the breeze and the milder temperature so much...
...that I even
got hungry and sat at the outdoor restaurant...
...and betrayed Grom's ice-cream with a super tasty tomato bruschetta and an ice-cold glass of white wine!
Sorry Rome, but these days I love Fregene better! :)
